A little about your child’s dentist

 Bonnie K. Hillman, DDS

Certified Pediatric Specialist

Dr. Bonnie Hillman began her career working with mentally and developmentally disabled children while she was in high school and college. After finishing her B.A. in Zoology at U.C. Santa Barbara, Dr. Hillman moved on to Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C., where she graduated in 1979. She then completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital of Cleveland.

Dr. Hillman's pediatric specialty hospital residency included extensive orthodontic training with an orthodontist in the clinic every week. She was also educated by one of the world's leading orthodontic experts who did growth studies and wrote a textbook. One of the main reasons she chose her residency was because of its strong orthodontic focus. Throughout 35 years of practice, she has continued to take many advanced orthodontic courses.  Children whom she treated decades ago, are now bringing their kids to her for braces and pediatric dentistry. The excellent results of her orthodontic care and exceptional patient satisfaction speak for themselves!

For more than 3 decades, Dr. Hillman has devoted her time to pediatric dentistry because she has always wanted to improve the lives of children. She started practicing pediatric dentistry in Antioch in 1981 and moved her practice to Brentwood in 2011. With all this, it’s no wonder that she has received numerous awards and recognition from her colleagues and the community.
